The fourth edition of the international training programme by Cintra, which will get underway in November, has just opened to applications. This project is backed by Cintra in partnership with the Fundación Universidad-Empresa and the Universidad de Alcalá and is aimed at young people living in Spain and Portugal. The international challenge work placement programme consists of one year of work placements in various countries that will provide them with international training for the rest of their lives. The objective is for the students to pick up the skills they need to perform at their best during their professional career. In this fourth edition, Cintra is offering a total of 4 places for recent graduates of Business Administration and Management, Finance, Economics, Law, Psychology, or Civil Engineering who have finished their studies or are about to finish them in Spain and Portugal. During the first six months of the work placement, the selected candidates will gain experience in Cintra's head offices in Madrid. In the following six months, they will take part in the day-to-day operations of one of Cintra's concessions in the United States, Canada, Australia, Ireland, United Kingdom, or Portugal. The selected candidates will receive a monthly grant and additional financial aid for flights, housing, etc. They will also take part in the GAIA Master's Degree in Decision Making and Innovation, a degree taught by the Universidad de Alcalá online in English and in accordance with the innovative X-learning methodology. Anybody who is interested in potentially taking part in this programme must register here before the 29th of September, 2017. The candidates selected will begin their work placements at Cintra in November, 2017. The Fundación Universidad-Empresa has been essential to the conceptualisation and shaping of this programme to capture talent, which, meeting the demands of a large company such as Cintra, stays true to its commitment to train and improve the employability of young people.
